We are building a remote, off grid log cabin on our property.
We are doing it all ourselves, by hand.
The method is known as stack wall, stove wood masonry, cord wood building and other names.
This is mortgage free and debt free.
We use trees that we harvest from our property. Mostly white pine and some red pine.
We use lime putty mortar, an ancient building technique.
This is the first episode and we will try to update weekly.
