This video depicts a physician demonstrating a good example of screening for alcohol use with an adolescent patient.

All patients portrayed in the MD3 SBIRT videos are actors and the cases and substance use examples are fictional. These videos were created for the training of medical residents, medical faculty, and other clinicians to learn SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment) for substance abuse.
