Ueno Park is located in Taito Ward, Tokyo, about two minutes by foot from Ueno Station. It covers a vast area of over 500,000 square meters where visitors can enjoy museums, temples and shrines, seasonal festivals, and street performances.

-Saigo played a vital role during Japan’s transition from the Edo era to Meiji era in the 19th century.
01:00 Kiyomizu Kannon-do
-Built in 1631 and is designated as an Important Cultural of Japan.
06:45 Ueno Daibutsu
-Dating back to the Edo period, the Ueno Daibutsu has endured significant earthquakes and wartime upheavals. Today, only the face stands as a remnant of its original form.
08:25 Hanazono Inari Shrine
-Features a line of red torii gates as its entrance.
12:20 Tsuki no Matsu (meaning “moon pine”)
-This pine tree, with a branch that forms a circular shape, was featured in one of Utagawa Hiroshige’s ukiyo-e woodblock prints.
