The Famous Boiling Crab Inspired Recipe Meets Asian Ingredients. Here is my take on a Asian Cajun Fusion Seafood Boil.
Recipe:
For the Seafood Boiling Pot 🦐🦀
1. Bring a Pot of Water it to a boil, then add 👇🏻
Zatarain’s Crawfish, Shrimp, and Crab Boil in a Bag (You can find this near the seafood ales, it's like a bunch of seasoning in a tea bag). Any other seafood boil brand is fine.
Next add 👇🏻
- Orange Juice, or Pineapple Juice.
- Two sticks of unsalted butter
- 8 Slices of Lemon 🍋
2. Once your Seafood is cooked, drain over cold water to stop the cooking process. Let it rest while you make the sauce.
Sauce:
In a mixing bowl, add 👇🏻
2 tbs of Cajun Seasoning
2 tbs of Lemon Pepper
3 tbs of Paprika ( I used a lot because I wanted the sauce to look 🔥🌶).
2 tbs of Cayenne Red Pepper
3 tbs of Sugar
2 tbs of Old Bay Seasoning
On high heat, 5 Sticks of Unsalted Butter to pan, then add 👇🏻
4 lime leaves
10 miced garlic
1 Cup of Minced Lemon Grass
1 tbs of Fish Sauce
2 tbs of Mono Sodium Glutamate
Stir in well, then add, seasoning from the mixing bowl. Give it another mix, then turn off the Heat. Done! 🦀🔥🦀🔥.
Note 📝 Once finished with your sauce, pour your desired amount over your Seafood Boil or use as a dipping sauce, enjoy.
