It's super easy! Just follow my instructions for changing .doc and .docx files to open in Microsoft Word automatically. This tutorial is for Windows 10, but the basic concept can also be applied to Windows 8, 7, Vista, or XP. It doesn't matter which version of Microsoft Office you are using. This will set the default program for Word for any version.
