CID were formed in the mid 80’s by Dave Ball & Chris Stone, over the first few years the band made a few changes but settled to Chris Stone Vocals/Keyboards, Dave Ball Guitar/Backing Vocals, Mark Welby Blood Bass/Backing vocals & Martin Oliver Drums/Backing Vocals. Towards the end of the 80s CID went their separate ways with Chris Stone taking up a solo career, Dave Ball forming a successful sound tech company, Mark Welby Blood returning back into the obis of the punk scene & Martin Oliver falling in love, getting married, mortgage, kids the full package.
After 25 years of being apart an old newspaper clipping was shared on Facebook brought them back together
