Rogue Adventures Family spent a rainy weekend lakeside RV camping with friends at Lake Houston Wilderness Park in New Caney, TX. This 5,000 acre park is a short drive for us and we have visited the park several times to enjoy the day use of the nature center and explore the trails and water along Peach Creek that runs through the middle of the park to beat the summer heat.

We toured the Joe Turner Nature Center where the kids enjoyed learning about all of the wildlife that lives in the park! The amazing park staff made the experience a great time for everyone!
