On our trip along the "Old Taos High Road" highway from Santa Fe to Taos in New Mexico on November 23, 2012, we came across this small stream flowing under the road. Actually two streams met on one side of the road and then combined to form one larger stream on the other side. This was notable because New Mexico, which is always arid, has been particularly dry recently. This was the first sign of flowing water we saw anywhere during our visit.
