Rhinoswab works in a similar way to existing NP, OP and nasal swabs. The user inserts the Rhinswab in their nose for a short period of time before breaking off the swab ends of the swab into a standard pathology tube that contains media. The patient sample on the flocked ends of the Rhinoswab then elutes into the media for standard diagnostic testing such as PCR.
