Ishmael von Heidrick-Barnes is a native San Diego poet, lyricist, and visual artist. Ish, an award-winning editor and poet, has published two books, “Intimate Geography,” Ragged Sky Press, Princeton, and “Urban Legends,” a collaborative book of verse with Lebanese born graphic artist, Tatiana Ferahian (Τατιάνα Ταβουκζιάν Φεραχιάν), published by Moufflon Books, Nicosia, Cyprus. Ishmael has also contributed poetry for art catalogues and books by German sculptor Roger Rigorth. Ish composes songs with the German opera singer and composer Andrea Hörkens Roderburg and her music group, Tender Art, which has recorded 2 CDs.
