In a 2008 game between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets, the Bills led 27-24 with 2:06 left, and a win almost in the bag. Instead of running the ball and giving it to Marshawn Lynch, they decided to call a passing play, which backfired in spectacular fashion, resulting in Shaun Ellis returning a fumble for the game-winning touchdown. But even though the play was criticized by just about everyone, Dick Jauron's decision to call a pass and trust JP Losman might not be as bad as you think.
