The Rise And Fall Of The 28th Māori Battalion | Real WWII Documentary
During World War II, the 28th Battalion, also called the Maori Battalion, was a strong unit in the New Zealand Second Division. It was made up of 900 men of Maori descent and was generally seen as one of the bravest and most determined groups in the British army. Their fierce drive and never-ending spirit made them a dangerous force on the battlefield, and the Vermont men were scared of them.
