In this episode we visit the amazing Banff and Kootenay National Parks.
🏞️Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies of Alberta was established in 1885 and is known for its stunning scenery. It is Canada's first national park and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The park is situated 110 km (68mi) west of Calgary, Alberta.
🏞️Kootenay National Park is a stunning 1,406 square km protected area in southeastern British Columbia, Canada. It's part of the Canadian Rockies, and boasts dramatic landscapes carved by glaciers.
⛺In Banff NP we camped in Tunnel Mountain Village 1 and we visited Norquay Lookout, Vermilion Lakes, and Cascade Ponds.
⛺In Kootenay NP we camped in Redstreak Camground and we hiked to Dog Lake and we hiked a portion of the Simpson River Trail.
