Hi everyone, it's Annabel, welcome back to my channel! Today we are taking off some keikis from my Dendrobium Berry Oda, which is a sweet smelling, free flowering kingianum hybrid. Very easy to care for, it also produced 2 keikis for me after flowering. This is quite common for this type of dendrobium, may be linked to an insufficient winter rest. I did not rest it at all, so that could be why! It flowered anyway so I am still happy with that.
These Keikis have finished growing and have decent root systems, so now is the time to remove them from the mother plant, so she can concentrate on making more appropriately placed new growths that can get roots into the pot. You could also leave them attached, but that could get very unruly very quickly! I will update in one month time to check progress, and maybe do a giveaway of these if they have rooted well in that time 🙂
Hope you enjoy the video!
