The Schueberfouer 2022 is the 680th edition of the annual Luxembourg City Funfair held on the Glacis square.
John I of Luxembourg, better known as John the Blind, King of Bohemia and Count of Luxembourg, founded the Schueberfouer back in 1340, originally an 8-day market in celebration of Saint Bartholomew’s Day on 24 August.
To this day, the Schueberfouer, with its countless rides, games, food and drink venues, remains the biggest annual fun fair in Luxembourg and the Greater Region, attracting millions of visitors each year.
For the first time in Luxembourg: the largest mobile haunted house in the world, the Daemonium with its four floors, is guaranteed to give you chills.
The Schueberfouer has only been cancelled once in its six centuries of existence, which was in 2020 as a result of the pandemic.
