Today we are going to be answering one of the most frequently asked questions that we receive - What do we do to celebrate our children’s birthdays?

All over YouTube, you will see super extravagant birthday parties. It can be easy to think that is what you need to do when you want to make your child feel special. Making your child feel special on their birthday is something that was really important to me. I felt so special on my birthday all growing up. I think it becomes more important when you have a really big family, because it’s one day that one child sticks out from the rest and everything is all about them. It’s a really special way to bring them into the limelight, regardless of where they’re at in birth order or how much attention they naturally demand.

What an opportunity to celebrate our children’s lives and celebrate that God in His sovereign plan, chose for them to enter into the world and for us to parent these children. We want to highlight that, not in an overly materialistic or superficial way, but certainly in a way that makes our children feel special. This helps highlight the sanctity of life and true miracle that they are!
