On August 7, 2021, the Weber County Heritage Foundation and the NWB Shoshone hosted a public event on the site of a historic Shoshone campground.
Partially in celebration of 2nd Street's new honorary road name, Chief Little Soldier Way the NWB Shoshone invited the public to learn about their traditions and culture, tour the campground, and come together.
In the words of Darren Parry, "see what can happen when diverse people join hands to build a better world."
We estimate between 600-800 people attended.
It was truly a magical event.
