Mandatory evacuations were in place on Thursday, July 27, for parts of Gunnison county in the U.S. state of Colorado, after a lightning strike ignited a forest fire. Owners of large animals were encouraged to take them to the Gunnison Fairgrounds as the fire quickly spread. Take a look.
