I've spent a couple of days wandering, and basically living, at the mim Museum to truly understand how it works and how visitors interact with the museum.
In this clip, I have a bit of fun. I take the viewer through the museum to check out the mineral specimens that were formerly in my father's collection (Edward Roy Swoboda) that now live at the mim! A little wander down memory lane!
Then, I show the viewers the latest evolution at the mim - fossils of Lebanon. Lebanon is the premiere site in the world for aquatic fossils from 100 Million years ago. The mim is dedicated to educating and opening up science to the people of Lebanon. This is a great way to do it via fossils from their own country!!!
There's A LOT of information that I was able to gather and I was also able to take photos and videos of EVERY SINGLE mineral specimen on exhibit at the mim. These are reference shots so they'll be used for BlueCap internal use only. HOWEVER, the FMF Board is doing an OUTSTANDING job of posting professional photographs of EVERY piece in the collection ([ Ссылка ]).
I hope you enjoy this continued tour through the mim Museum in Beirut, Lebanon.
