In this video in my X79 Chinese Motherboard Server Build. We will install TrueNAS on a VM inside Proxmox. While setting this up, I also will show you how to passthrough HDD from the system to TrueNAS without a HBA or SAS Controller.

All the Code for the video will be in order here:
Install LSHW:
apt install lshw

Get Info on Disks:
lshw -class disk -class storage

Following Command for Disk ID's:
ls -l /dev/disk/by-id/

Add each drive with the following (Pay attention to your names, serial numbers etc)
qm set 100 -scsi1 /dev/disk/by-id/(serial number here without brackets)
