Water is life a phrase often used, these thundering waterfalls are located along the Historic Columbia River Highway's that run through Oregon and Washington states in the Pacific Northwest.
My images show three water falls the
Multnomah Falls is the most visited natural recreation site in the Pacific Northwest with more than 2 million visitors stopping by each year to take in the views.
Wahkeena Falls is a day use area and trail situated at the base of beautiful Wahkeena Falls, just west of Multnomah Falls on the Historic Columbia River Highway.
Horsetail Falls named for it characteristic form, plunges 176 feet within view of the Historic Columbia River Highway's "Waterfall Corridor." Just east of the falls is a great picnic spot to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area.
Wonderful ferns, and moss adorn the trees, bridges and rock formations. It is truly one of America's gems, we visited in November it was very pleasant and we wore light coats not too many visitors.
Water provides us not only health, but has a spiritual meaning in Christianity and other religions. Water has cleansing, purification and renewal properties along with recreational uses all over the world.
