Lanshi is arguably both the most confusing and brutally strong playable character in Indivisible. This is mainly due to the somewhat random nature of the length of his naps to the damage output of his barks. In the broadest sense, his upward attack and neutral attack are the same, causing him to use all of his available actions to do damage to all enemies. The only difference I noticed was using upward attack pushed airborne enemies slightly more upward than neutral attack, but it just as easily could have been a trick of the light. Lanshi's downward attack will put the dog to sleep for a time limit that isn't frozen while characters take their actions and during which you can't guard. Petting the dog while it's sleeping releases a huge amount of Iddhi. Speaking of which, Lanshi's Iddhi attacks are the real meat of the character, with his 1st special marking an enemy and then changing his upward attack into a howl that calls down lightning. The time limit on this, once again, isn't frozen while characters take actions, so speed is imperative to take full advantage of it's incredible damage output. His 2nd special plops him down in front of his target and puts him to sleep (once again is timed and not frozen while other targets take their actions) petting the dog during this will charge up an AoE burst which does decent enough damage and notably does not slow the character's action regeneration after the attack goes off, but during the charging. His 3rd Iddhi special grants immediate gratification and deals massive AoE damage to all enemies on the ground, but is notably a poor choice against a single target.
