If you have yogurt, flour and eggs, make this super creamy cake. This cake will just melt in your mouth.

💥 Yogurt Cake Ingredients:
For the dough:
2 egg yolks
1/3 cup butter (80g), melted
1/3 cup sugar (70g)
1 grated lemon
1 1/4 cups all purpose flour (200g)
1 tsp baking powder

For the cream:
2 egg whites
1/3 cup sugar (80g)
1 3/5 cups plain yogurt (400g)
4 Tbsp flour

powdered sugar (optional)
8x8 inch cake pan (you can also use 7 or 9 inch round pan)

💥 Yogurt Cake Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, add egg yolks, sugar, melted butter and whisk to blend.
2. Add lemon zest, baking powder and flour in two parts. Mix with spatula and then knead by hand to form a dough. Divide the dough in two equal parts, cover with plastic wrap and keep in freezer for 20 minutes.
3. In a mixing bowl, add in egg whites and whisk with electric mixer for 2-3 minutes or until stiff peaks.
4. Add yogurt in two parts. Whisk to blend. Add sugar and mix. Add flour and mix. Chill the cream mixture in the fridge until needed.
5. Preheat the oven to 356F (180C).
6. Butter and flour the cake pan. Take half of dough from the freezer and spread evenly on the cake pan. Pour in cream mixture. Grate the other half dough and add it on top.
7. Bake in the oven for 35 minutes or until golden.
8. Let it cool down to room temperature.
9. Decorate the cake with powdered sugar (optional).
