Good day everyone! Today we continue our Psychology of Psychonauts Series and move into the next world in the game. Every World in Psychonauts is based upon the Psyche of a Character in the story. As such the design and symbolism directly relate to what issues they are dealing with.

In this series, we will analyze each of these worlds and try to learn what we can about these people. In this video, Raz prepares to cross Lake Oblongata and is confronted by Linda the Lungfish. Due to Razputin's curse and fear of the water, the lake is a true Threshold. Since he stole the Door Portal, he is able to enter into the mutated Lungfish's Mental World. During the mutations, Linda was implanted with a Neural Implant that controls her mind. By entering the mental world, Raz must help to free her mind. Let's look at the figments, mental vaults, and events of the world to analyze how her internal world matches her external situation.
