In 2011, a local businessman named Sornsuvee Phanthaveesab decided to introduce a new inhabitant to the mall-turned-pond: fish. He brought in thousands of koi and catfish, turning the stagnant water into a thriving ecosystem.

Now, the abandoned mall has become a popular tourist attraction, drawing visitors who come to witness the unique sight of fish swimming in what used to be a shopping center. The fish not only help control the mosquito population but also contribute to the biodiversity of the area.
