The Central Electoral Commission ratified the preliminary results of the National Assembly elections held on May 12. According to these results, 5 parties have received the number of votes needed to enter the National Assembly. These are the Republican Party of Armenia, the Prosperous Armenia Party, the Armenian Revolutionary Federation Party, the Country of Legality Party and the Heritage Party.
Felix Khachatryan, representing the Justice alliance, suggested they should annul the results of the proportional electoral procedure vote for numerous violations that would affect the results of the voting were recorded. CEC turned the suggestion down by voting against it.
The representatives of the Justice alliance, the National Union and the Country of Legality refused to sign the conclusive record.
