Hello everybody & Welcome back to my channel! You all may have seen the previous video I'd posted about the three ways on how to set up toms to an SPL (Sound Percussion Labs) Unity Birch Drum Set. So, I had the idea of making this video for all of you who owned an SPL Unity Birch Drum Set like I do to set it up as a 5pc Drum Set in two different ways.

1. Standard Drum Setup (Beginner's Kit)-

The most common configuration of a kick, snare, & 3 Toms (high, mid, and low), and then of course you have the hi-hats, crash cymbal, & ride cymbal. This setup is what most drummers learn to play on. It's commonly seen as the most standard drum set configuration you can get. The only added part here compared to the 4pc is a middle tom. Middle toms are typically 12" or 13" in size.

2. 5pc Drum Setup with Two Floor Toms (Rock or Pop Drum Kit)

This is a great way of getting around the ride cymbal placement issue to have two floor toms instead of two rack toms. This setup will give you a beefier overall sound as the two floor toms will provide plenty of low-end sound. In my opinion, I see this kind of drum setup configuration mostly used for alternative/rock drummers & pop drummers who play pop music.
