Isolated showers and storms are still possible as we head into Saturday with plenty of dry time. If you are under one of the heaviest storms, a half-inch to an inch of rain is possible in just a short time frame. The other impact is the poor air quality that is in place once again. If you have respiratory ailments, you are encouraged to limit your time outdoors Saturday from 10a.m. - 8 p.m.
There could be a brief downpour into Saturday afternoon before the drying trend kicks in for Sunday and Monday. Temperatures will continue to climb as well, with mid 90s Saturday and upper 90s for Sunday. Monday and Tuesday will likely be the hottest with highs near 100 and heat index values up near 105-110 by the afternoon hours.
By mid-week, next week our rain chances increase as a cold front approaches. This will cool us back into the 80s to end next week.
