Rust Owl is a phenomenon of post-punk grit & heart, risen from the ashes of hardship and loss. Their music calls back to the grungy, hard-hitting sounds of their former group 1971 with new influences of americana accented with haunting violin and a renewed sense of melodic ambition. Rust Owl's debut EP comes out on March 23rd with Transistor 66 Records and Birthday Tapes.
