The GoPro Hero 12 has just hit the market. And everyone including me waited in excitement. What comes next, will GoPro revolutionize the action camera market?. So why not test it against another action camera from GoPro, the Hero 10 which came out 2 years ago. It's not the massive differences that many thought, or is it?

There are some small differences, but they are hard to see. It is possible to see that the sensor on the Hero 12 is slightly larger. But then you really have to look carefully. What I immediately see is that the Hero 12 has a slightly cooler image. The natural color profile looks more normal. Otherwise, there are small marginal differences.

So the question is?, do you really need the latest action camera?.
