This is a quick way to keep your diff vent clean. Keeping the vent clean means your diff can breath properly and expel any air pressure that builds up when it is spinning inside. If the vent gets plugged, your axle seals can be blown from the pressure. try to get the least amount of dirt into the vent possible.
