In our continuing series of Trying Snacks from Different Countries, we tried Dutch snacks! We taste test some popular Dutch snacks, rank them, and give comparisons to American snacks! We love snacking, so we thought it would be fun to taste some snacks from The Netherlands!
As Chinese Americans, we want to expand our cultural knowledge, and try things from different countries, as that is a way to learn about someone's food habits and culture and get a slice of their preferences! To us, this series is super important and interesting, because we get to explore foreign countries (in this case the Netherlands) from our home in California! We were thoroughly impressed by the snacks and although we had trouble enjoying the salty liquorice, we can at least come out saying we've tried the real deal!
