Today is the first day of June 2022, a month to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and the progress which has been made towards equality all over the world.

Today is the Global Day of Parents, so I’ll be speaking about parents from a few different LGBTQ+ perspectives.



In this episode, I discuss sensitive topics, including parental acceptance of LGBTQ+ people and the effects that a lack of acceptance can have on youths.

If you are personally in need of mental health support and struggle to or are unable to comfortably speak to your friends, family or anyone else you may know, I have linked to the “United for Global Mental Health” website below, which includes some mental health hotlines for a number of countries.
