Body Count, a collaboration of Ice-T and an existing LA Speed Metal band fronted by guitarist Ernie C, was one of the most interesting metal bands to come out of LA in the early 90s.
For decades, I considered this video unplayable because there was a tracking problem at the bottom (and Hi8 doesn't have a tracking control) - but digital processing makes it possible to remove the visual noise. And unlike the Sepultura portion, there's almost no problem with the sound.
Foundations Forum was a heavy-metal convention held in a hotel near LAX airport.
About the cuts - There were about 15 of us with camcorders up against the rear wall of the hotel ballroom, and a rep from the band came up and said we could shoot as long as we didn't shoot the whole show. So dutifully, I turned my camera off a few times and didn't shoot. I figured we'd all get together after the show and put our tapes together, but that never happened. But if you know someone who was there (or has posted a good copy), we could still do it now!
