Hundreds of residents from Irpin on Kyiv's outskirts fled the city, crossing a destroyed bridge.

The bridge was blown up by Ukraine's Armed Forces to prevent Russian troops from advancing on the Ukrainian territory.

Young people, families, children, and even a dog on a leash, are seen getting out of white vans and getting on yellow buses, ready to escape as explosions rock the city. A huge smoke cloud can be seen behind residential areas.

It comes as Russian bombings of Kyiv and its surrounding towns intensify after they failed to capture to the capital in last week's shock invasion.
