To fix scapular winging you need more than just serratus anterior strengthening exercises and rhomboid stretches. Scapular winging is a symptom of poor structural balance in the shoulder.
To fix it you need a solution that keeps you out of physical therapy and doing more of what you love. Here's an overview of a strategy that's worked well for my tribe:
1. Strengthen serratus anterior
2. Strengthen scapular stabilisers
3. Train push/pull in vertical and horizontal plane in a 1:1 ratio
4. Train shoulder stabilisers and prime movers in every workout
5. Balance strength and flexibility
