We went on two epic hiking trails in Yosemite Valley - Upper Yosemite Falls and Mist Trails.
Upper Yosemite Falls
The Upper Yosemite Falls trail has beautiful views of the tallest waterfall in North America and distant views of Half Dome. However, this hike is definitely not easy. The entire trail is roughly 7 miles round trip and took us around 8 hours to complete.
Mist Trails
The mist trail offers amazing close-up views of a huge waterfall, vernal falls. We climbed to the top of vernal falls, which is a 2.4 mile round trip hike and took us around 3 hours to complete. Depending on the season, the mist trails could be extremely wet. Make sure that you bring a waterproof jacket.
For both trails, my tips are to start the hike as early as possible because it will take a long time. Also, you should bring plenty of water because drinking water is not readily available. The hike also has plenty of loose sand and rocky terrain - be sure to wear proper shoes.
