It is possible to climb Kilimanjaro year-round, but certain times are more optimal than others. Tanzania has two wet seasons and two dry seasons. The long dry season is from June to October, and the short dry season is from December to February. These two seasons are the best for climbing. If we had to pick one month, it would be July. The wet season has just ended, the dust has cleared out, and there are more flowering plants. WWT schedules most of our trips in the long dry season, but our customizable treks allow you to schedule a trip in the wet season if you so desire!
