Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy travelled to Qatar on Wednesday for talks with the ruling emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani. A readout from the state-run Qatar News Agency described the leaders as discussing ways "to stop the fighting, protect civilians, and keep all channels of communication open to resolve the crisis through dialogue and diplomatic means."
