Using Zwift on the AppleTV is tricky. A new solution, connecting sensors via the new 4iiii Viiiiva Heart Rate Monitor does the trick! I was able to hook up my existing speed and cadence sensors through the ANT+ bridge in the Viiiiva HRM, and send that data through Bluetooth to Zwift on my AppleTV. Here's how I did it:
1. Grab a Viiiiva Heart Rate Monitor: [ Ссылка ]
2. Using the 4iiii app, connect your new Viiiiva, and set it up to connect to any ANT+ sensors that you have
3. Log into Zwift on your AppleTV, and select the Viiiiva Heart Rate Monitor for the input for ALL the sensors you paired with it
- Pro tip: If the Heart Rate sensor isn't showing up, first make sure that it isn't connected to the 4iiii app, or another bluetooth receiver. Some Viiiiva's have issues when connected to other devices. If that doesn't do the trick, I found that restarting the AppleTV Zwift App a few times made it work just fine.
4. Enjoy you ride!
Riding on Zwift has been an awesome way to make indoor cycling more exciting. The detail you can get from those rides, and that data you see during and afterward make it much easier to push through a long effort. In future videos, I plan to go through all of that data and see how it impacts the rides themselves!
