Only three in every 1,000 people each month start a business, but the rest of us can all play a role in helping them build their businesses, in ways big and small. See how community support helped three entrepreneurs succeed.
The Kauffman Foundation takes you to three American entrepreneurial ecosystems in Kansas City, Missouri; Chattanooga, Tennessee; and the Twin Cities, Minnesota. Entrepreneurs share how support from their community helped them overcome the barriers they faced to succeed. Entrepreneurship creates jobs, spurs innovation, and boosts community wealth, but only three in every 1,000 people each month start a business. The rest of us – the 997 – can all play a role in helping businesses achieve success, in more ways than one. What can you do to support entrepreneurs?
