What is a Buckeye? (other than a nut that drives wolverines crazy?)
If you are NOT from Ohio, you may not know what a Buckeye is! When it comes to sports fans, it's just an obnoxious person that cheers on the teams from THE Ohio State University, but to the rest of the world, it is a poisonous seed from the tree that grows predominately in the midwest. Many people make necklaces of these seeds, and claim they are good luck. Others swear that they can help with certain types of arthritis! But for the most part, they simply represent a proud state as seed that falls from the State Tree of Ohio - The Buckeye Tree!
