Here’s a short video showing why you shouldn’t use only All Terrain - Low Conductor mode on your best sites.
Disc is factory… if I go to all metal it will give a positive target response TID 1/2. That’s not the point of the video, there’s not a problem. The point I’m making, or trying to make, is that 'All terrain - Low Contctor' Mode has the potential to 'light up' low conducting elements of mineralised soils (coke, hot rocks, ceramics etc) blanking out deeper targets.
So I would treat ATLC and ATHC modes as specialist settings not 'go to' general detecting modes.
Don’t get stuck in a rut using the Manticore in one program mode.
