Walkthrough of 323237 as it was departing Hadfield as 2G66 1844 to Manchester Piccadilly calling at Glossop (1852), Dinting (1855), Broadbottom (1859), Hattersley (1902), Godley (1904), Newton for Hyde (1906), Flowery Field (1908), Guide Bridge (1911), Ashburys (1916) and Manchester Piccadilly (1922).
At the end of the year (or when the Class 730s eventually enter service on the West Midlands Railway Cross City line), 323s numbered 202, 203, 205 to 213, 217, 218, 219, 241, 242 and 243 will transfer to Northern to allow the Class 319s to be withdrawn.
It would be nice if the 323s had more panels for the guard as the 323s (both Northern and West Midlands Railway) only have 2 panels in the PTS carriage while the 319s and 769s (Northern) have panels at every door in the saloon and not in the cab, same with the now withdrawn TFW 769s. If GWR didn't reject their 769s then the guard would've operated the doors from the cab or at any set of doors in the saloon.
