Are there some math tips and/or examples of easily available ways to work with early math at home throughout the day that support Waldorf homeschooling?

Here is a great example of how to incorporate a bit of math practice with an everyday activity at home. Here we are setting the table. We can use the place settings, the utensils, and the tines of the forks to practice counting by 1's, 2's, 3's, and 4's. The daily repetition of such patterns is what helps the child become familiar with the numbers and multiples. When we find various situations to repeat and practice these patterns, these things are learned "by heart". Flash cards can be very effective, and I certainly used them with students and my own children. At the same time, finding other ways, such as this little activity, can support and enliven that kind of practice.
