This video is about an extremely rare error old coin from Russia. My Uncle bought it from an old coins shop in Canada for about $8.500.00. This is one Rouble (Ruble) issued in 1997. It is a standard circulation coin. Metal is Nickel brass. Weight of this particular coin is 3.5 gram. Diameter is 21.5 mm. Thickness is 1.7 mm. Because of its dimensions it is a unique error coin. Shape of the coin is round. This coin was made with milled technique. Obverse of the coin features in center - the Emblem of the Bank of Russia. It is the Two-headed Eagle with Wings down. There is also Denomination, the Year of issue and the Mint Trade Mark - Saint Petersburg / Leningrad / Petrograd, Russia (1724-date). The mint mark is under right claw of eagle. Script is in Cyrillic. Lettering translation ; Bank of Russia, MMD, One Rouble. Engraver and designer of this coin was Alexander Baklanov. Reverse of the coin shows Denomination. Orientation of the coin is medal alignment up. Edge of the coin is 110 corrugations.
