2. Disable your security app(s). Moreover, you may also consider performing the removal of that useless resource-hogging baggage* (* unused/unknown programs in your system)
3. Check out your allowance under your VPN account or existing VPN Subscription. For example, With a single subscription, you can connect 3 devices to the VPN server at the same time, regardless of platform (including virtual machines such as VMware Workstation).
4. Check out your VPN service (system performance) and/or (specific) server status (in your own area).
Or, try connecting a different VPN Server.
5. Change or (re-)check out your VPN username & password.
Hints: 1) Sometimes, signing out then re-logging in your VPN client does the trick. 2) Contact your VPN service provider support team and see if there was internet censorship.
