Instructions:
Sweep or Dust Mop: Before using Murphy’s Oil Soap, ensure you remove any loose dirt or debris from the wood floor. Use a soft broom or dust mop to gently sweep the floor.
Dilution: Depending on the level of cleaning needed, dilute the Murphy’s Oil Soap as directed on the bottle. For most cleaning, you'll typically mix 1/4 cup of Murphy’s Oil Soap into a gallon of warm water.
Wring Out Mop: Dip a soft, clean mop into the solution. Wring out any excess liquid; the mop should be damp, not wet.
Mop the Floor: Begin mopping the wood floor. Ensure you're following the grain of the wood to avoid streaks.
Dry the Floor: After mopping, go over the floor with a dry, clean cloth or towel to remove any excess moisture. This prevents water damage and keeps your wood floor looking shiny.
Regular Maintenance: Clean your wood floors with Murphy’s Oil Soap once every couple of weeks or as needed based on the foot traffic in your home.
