Is there REALLY a BIG difference between leading brands of pickups? Not really. I put this video together in an effort to fight against hype. We blame gear all the time, instead of focusing on finding tone ourselves, without wasting time on subtle differences like pickups. All renowned pickup brands are good. They aren't that different like most want us to believe. Here is a video where I play a part with 6 different brands of pickups. And I sound like myself with all of them... the differences are subtle. What do YOU think?
