Examining the role of treatment dose in post-stroke aphasia recovery

Treatment dose is a hot topic in aphasia rehabilitation research and clinical practice. This talk will review the state of the evidence for dose effects in aphasia treatment, summarise methodological issues, and provide useful tips for increasing dose in clinical practice.
Sam is a speech pathologist and postdoctoral researcher in the Queensland Aphasia Research Centre. Sam is a member of the Collaboration of Aphasia Trialists dose and intensity working group, he is an Early Career Researcher representative for the International Collaborative Network of N-of-1 trials and Single-Case Designs, he is an ambassador with the IMNIS Catalyst program, and an ambassador for open science practices in speech-language pathology with CSDisseminate.
